if you are new to vps computing or just dont have the time to do the initial setup of a server either way for all new customers to VPS.net my service is simple and with no catch, i offer to setup your first VPS on vps.net for free, with the services you require and also to make sure its reasonably hardened from hackers and tweaked to provide the service you need at high performance.

seriously there are none! how is it done? simply if you wish to use my service all you need to do is click my affiliate link to VPS.net and sign up and purchase your node(s) then pass the requirements on to me via email. the info i would need is your specific install requirements (software etc and any license codes if its commercial software) and the IP and root details for your vps for security dont send the IP and password together in the same email. upon confirmation of requirements and the affiliate sale confirmation (this happens automatically the moment you make a purchase on VPS.net) i will contact you to make sure its ok to logon to the vps and start work and confirm any other details along with a time estimate, when i am done i will email you again with any other settings you need to take note or other things you need to do (most likely dns related) and also remind you to change the root password. I can be available on an IM service as well if that is beneficial, and transferral of details is somewhat preferred that way.

as this is a one man service i cannot guarentee response times, but if my status shows as online, chances are you will get a prompt response.

How can it be free?

quite simple, you click the affiliate link, you get sent straight to the vps.net site, make your purchase then i get money back through a referral scheme, it doesnt cost you anymore than going direct, if you want advice before you purchase, you are more than welcome to discuss your needs before hand if i am online

But What if i am already a VPS.net customer?

sadly the free offer is only applicable to new customers to vps.net, if you still require assistance in setting up your VPS.net server or other cloud server if neccesary i currently charge £60 for a standard setup or charge an hourly rate for other assistance or custom/more bespoke setups, feel free to contact me to discuss this further.
